Multi-boiler architecture
One large stainless steel steam boiler plus one stainless steel brew boiler per group, each with independent PID temperature control. This setup provides excellent thermal stability and fast recovery, even during peak service.
Electronic Temperature Control & PID
PID-controlled boiler pressure (with user-adjustable temperature settings) enhances both extraction consistency and steam performance.
Large digital group displays
Every group has a prominent 3-digit display mounted under the group that functions as a shot timer during extraction, then switches back to showing actual coffee boiler temperature. This gives baristas instant feedback on both time and temperature at a glance.
Progressive pre-infusion and pressure feedback
Two-stage progressive pre-infusion cylinders in each group gently ramp pressure up to full extraction, improving extraction evenness and reducing channeling. Each group also has its own pressure gauge showing real extraction pressure at the puck, making dialing-in more precise and repeatable.
Adjustable working height
The drip tray height is easily adjustable, allowing you to optimize working height for different cup sizes, scales, or workflow preferences.
Custom Finish Options
Multiple choices for legs, front and side panels, cup rails, colours, awnings, knobs, and group caps, plus options like flip-flop or foot-operated steam valves and custom rear logos. This makes the Slim Jim an aesthetic center piece as well as a workhorse.
